Ingco Combination Spanner 29mm HCSPA291 Chrome-Plated Cr-V

Our review

This is a single 29mm combination spanner from Ingco, the kind of size that turns up on larger nuts and bolts rather than everyday furniture assembly. The open end and ring end share the same 29mm size, so you get two ways to approach a fastener with one tool. It is made from Cr-V steel and finished with chrome plating in a matt style, which keeps glare down and wipes clean fairly easily. It suits someone building out a metric set, a mechanic who has lost or worn out this particular size, or a homeowner tackling a job that needs a bigger spanner than the usual small sizes. Before buying, confirm 29mm is genuinely the size you need, since a 28mm or 30mm will not fit properly and can round the fastener. Check whether you want a matt or polished finish, and whether a longer pattern or offset ring would give better reach for your task. Compare against other Cr-V spanners in the same size, and consider whether buying a set works out better than a single spanner. Available on Sokonia.
