Ingco Cordless LED Work Lamp CWLI2038, 5W, 270 Lumens

Our review

This is a compact cordless work light from Ingco, model CWLI2038, running on the brand's 20V battery platform. It draws 5W and is rated at 270 lumens with a stated tolerance of plus or minus ten percent, so expect a modest, focused pool of light rather than a floodlit work area. Because the battery and charger are sold separately, it makes most sense if you already own Ingco 20V tools and packs, since the lamp becomes another body to share those batteries with. If you are starting from nothing, price the battery and charger into your decision, because the lamp alone will not run. Before buying, confirm which 20V battery you have and whether it is compatible, and think about how you will position the light, since the listing gives no details on mounting, stand or clamp. Compared with mains-powered work lights, you trade brightness for portability and no cable. Compared with torches, it likely spreads light more evenly, though the listing does not describe beam angle. It is available on Sokonia.
