Ingco Cordless Sheet Sander CSHSLI20141, 20V with Battery and Charger
TSh 162,000
Our review
This is a battery-powered finishing sander from Ingco, sold as a kit rather than a bare tool. The 20V pack, charger and five sheets of sandpaper come in the box, so there is nothing extra to hunt down before the first job. The 110mm by 100mm pad is the familiar quarter-sheet size, which suits flat surfaces such as doors, tabletops, shelves and filled patches of wall. No-load speed is listed at 12,000rpm, in the range expected for this class of sander. Because it runs on a battery, it is a sensible pick if you already own other Ingco 20V tools and want to share packs, or if you work where a cord would be awkward. Before buying, think about what you actually sand. A sheet sander is for smoothing and light stock removal, not for stripping thick paint or shaping timber, so if that is the job, a belt or random orbital machine is the better comparison. Also check the pad size against the sandpaper you can buy locally, and confirm the charger's 220-240V rating suits your power supply. The kit is available on Sokonia.
