Ingco HHFS3058 Hacksaw Frame, 300mm/12 with Bi-Metal Blade

Our review

This is a fixed-frame hand hacksaw from Ingco, sized at 300mm (12 inches) and supplied with one 24 TPI bi-metal blade. The blade is described as M2+D6A bi-metal, a combination that generally holds up better than a plain carbon blade when you are working through metal, and the same saw is listed as suitable for plastic and wood too. The frame is made with an ABS plastic handle and a soft grip, and the whole tool is described as lightweight and comfortable to use, which matters if you are cutting overhead or working in tight spots. It suits a home toolbox, a workshop, or a tradesperson who wants a straightforward spare saw rather than a specialist tool. Before buying, check the blade length and TPI match the material you cut most: 24 TPI is a fine pitch, better for thinner metal sections and tubing than for fast, coarse work. Also confirm whether you want a fixed or adjustable frame, since adjustable versions accept different blade lengths and let you turn the blade for flush cuts. Compare handle material and grip comfort too, as cheaper saws often skimp there. Available on Sokonia.
