This Ingco padlock is a 50mm iron-bodied lock built around a brass cylinder, supplied with three iron keys and a waterproof rubber cover over the keyway. At 289g it has a bit of heft for its size, which suits gates, store doors, lockers and toolboxes where you want a visible deterrent rather than a hidden security device. The brass cylinder is the part that matters most day to day, since brass resists corrosion better than untreated steel in damp coastal air, and the rubber cover keeps rain and dust out of the key slot. Before buying, measure the hasp or latch you intend to lock and confirm 50mm is the right body width, and check the shackle diameter suits your fitting.
