Ingco Iron Padlock 75mm with Brass Cylinder and 3 Keys

Our review

This is a 75mm iron padlock from Ingco, listed as model DIPL0701 and supplied with three iron keys. The body is iron and the lock cylinder is brass, and a waterproof rubber cover sits over the keyway to keep rain and dust out of the mechanism. At 714g it is a fairly heavy padlock, which is typical of this size. It suits gates, storefront shutters, warehouses and compound doors where the hasp is large enough to take a 75mm body. Before buying, measure your hasp and staple to confirm the shackle will pass through, and check the gap between the door and frame so the lock is not exposed to levering. Compare it with smaller padlocks if you only need to secure a toolbox or locker, and with hardened-shackle or weatherproof alternatives if the lock will face salt air or heavy tampering. The rubber cover helps, but it is not a substitute for a fully sealed lock. Available on Sokonia.
