Ingco Lithium-Ion Auto Air Compressor CACLI2002, 20V, 160PSI

Our review

This is a cordless inflator built around Ingco's 20V battery platform, so it runs on a pack you may already own rather than a wall socket. It tops out at 160PSI, which covers car, motorcycle and bicycle tyres plus the usual balls and inflatables, and the three adaptors and air tube come in the box. The integrated work light matters more than it sounds if you inflate at night or in a dim garage. Two things to weigh before buying: the battery and charger are sold separately, so factor that cost in if you are not already on this platform, and the 3m cord with cigarette lighter plug means it can also run from a car socket. Compare against mains-powered compressors, which never run flat but need power nearby, and against smaller handheld inflators that are lighter but slower and often capped at lower pressures. Check which battery system you already own first.
