Ingco Planer Blade Pack of 2, HSS, 82 x 5.5 x 1.2mm, for PL10508

Our review

This is a two-piece replacement blade set from Ingco, sized 82 x 5.5 x 1.2mm and made from HSS steel. It is listed as suitable for the Electric Planer PL10508, so it mainly suits someone who already owns that model and has dulled or nicked the original cutters. Before ordering, check your planer's manual or the old blade itself: length, width and thickness must match, and the mounting holes or slots need to line up. HSS is a common choice for general planing of softwoods and some hardwoods, but it will not hold an edge as long as carbide if you work with abrasive or reclaimed timber. Compare against other Ingco blade sets and carbide alternatives by confirming the exact model fit first, since a blade that is close in size but not identical can sit poorly and cut badly. The double blister pack keeps the pair together in storage.
