Ingco 3-Piece Pliers Set HKPS08318 — 8″ Combination, 6″ Long Nose, 6″ Diagonal Cutters

Our review

This Ingco set bundles three pliers that cover most gripping, twisting, bending and cutting jobs around a home, workshop or vehicle: an 8-inch combination plier for general pulling and holding, a 6-inch long nose plier for reaching into tight spots and forming wire loops, and a 6-inch diagonal cutting plier for trimming wire and cable. The heads are chrome-vanadium steel with a black finish and polish, and the handles use two-colour TPR, which is the soft, rubbery grip material that tends to stay comfortable during longer jobs. It suits DIYers, electricians starting out, and anyone assembling a basic tool kit rather than a professional who needs insulated, voltage-rated pliers. Before buying, check the jaw sizes against the wire and fasteners you actually work with, and confirm whether you need hardened cutting edges or insulated handles, since those are the features that separate this kind of set from specialist pliers. Compare it with single-brand three-piece sets and with buying each plier separately; a set usually costs less but gives you less say over jaw length and handle style. The set arrives on a PP hanger, so it stores easily on a pegboard or rail. Available on Sokonia.
