Ingco Spirit Level 100cm x 1mm HSL58100 Aluminum

Our review

This is a 100cm spirit level from Ingco, model HSL58100, made from aluminum with a 1mm thickness and the brand's own profile design. At a metre long, it suits tasks where a shorter level struggles: setting door frames, aligning wall tiles, checking long countertops, or leveling shelving across a wide span. The aluminum body keeps it reasonably light for its size, which matters if you are carrying it around a site or holding it overhead. Before buying, think about the length you actually need. A 100cm level is awkward in tight corners, so many trades keep a shorter one alongside it. Check that the vial reads clearly from the angle you will use it, and confirm the model number matches what you intend to order. Compared with plastic levels, aluminum tends to hold its shape better over time, though any level deserves a quick check against a known reference before trusting it on finish work. Ingco sits in the budget-friendly end of hand tools, so it is a sensible pick for homeowners and apprentices rather than someone needing calibrated professional gear. Available on Sokonia.
