Ingco 13-Inch Tools Bag, 12kg Load, 600D Polyester

Our review

This is a compact 13-inch tool bag from Ingco, built around a rigid frame that keeps the mouth open so you can reach tools without fumbling. The shell is two layers of waterproof 600D polyester with fine stitching, and Ingco rates it for a maximum load of 12kg. Six pockets sit on the outside for the items you want within arm's reach, while the main compartment takes the bulk of your kit. It suits a homeowner, technician or apprentice carrying a focused set of hand tools rather than a full workshop. Before buying, measure your longest tool against a 13-inch bag and weigh your usual load against that 12kg ceiling, since overloading is the usual cause of stitching failure. Compare it with open tote bags, which are lighter but expose tools to rain, and with hard boxes, which protect better but are heavier and bulkier. The waterproof fabric helps in wet conditions, though it is not a sealed case. Check the zip and handle stitching on arrival, and confirm the outside pockets fit your most-used items.
