Ingco Wood Chisel 14mm HWC0814 CRV Blade

Our review

This is a 14mm wood chisel from Ingco, listed as model HWC0814 with a 14 x 140mm size and a CRV blade. It arrives packed individually in a double blister. The 14mm width sits in the middle of the common range, so it handles general paring and light mortising work where a narrower chisel would feel slow and a wider one would be awkward. It suits a carpenter or DIY user who wants one dependable mid-size chisel rather than a full set. Before buying, check the blade width matches the joints you cut, confirm the handle feels right in your hand, and think about whether you need a set for variety. Compare CRV against carbon steel and chrome vanadium alternatives, and consider whether you want a bevel-edged or firmer pattern. A honing stone and mallet are worth having ready, since a new chisel usually benefits from sharpening before first use. Available on Sokonia.
