The inclined, auto-rotating bowl is the detail worth understanding, since it turns the mixture for you rather than leaving you to chase the beaters around the bowl. That suits someone who bakes regularly but does not want a bulky stand mixer on the counter, or who finds holding a mixer over a bowl tiring. Two attachments come in the box, so check which ones before buying if you need dough hooks.
