Moulinex Subito Select Stainless Steel Kettle 1.7L 2400W BY550D27

Our review

The Moulinex Subito Select BY550D27 is a stainless steel electric kettle with a 1.7 litre capacity and 2400 watts of heating power. That combination points to a kettle built for households that boil water often, whether for morning tea, coffee, or cooking. The auto-off function is the key safety feature to note, and the easy-open lid matters more than it sounds if you refill at the tap daily. Stainless steel is the material to weigh against plastic or glass alternatives: it resists staining and holds heat, but the body can get hot, so check whether the handle keeps your hand clear. Before buying, confirm the voltage and plug suit your kitchen, and think about whether 1.7L is right for your countertop and cupboard. A smaller kettle may suit one or two people, while this size works for families or guests. Compare cordless versus corded designs, and whether the base rotates, since those details affect daily use.
