Nikai Hand Mixer NH989A1 300W with Turbo and Eject Button

Our review
The Nikai NH989A1 is a corded hand mixer built around a 300W motor, with five speeds plus a turbo function for extra bursts when a mixture thickens. It ships with two beaters for eggs and cream and two dough hooks for heavier mixing, and the eject button releases whichever pair is fitted so you can swap between them without pulling them off by hand. The attachments can be stored on the underside of the unit, and there is cord storage for tidier packing away.
It suits home bakers who mix small to medium batches rather than large bread doughs, where a stand mixer is the better tool. Before buying, check that the beaters and hooks are the ones you need, and note that no bowl is included, so you will use your own. Compared with other hand mixers, the turbo function and dough hooks are the main points of difference; weigh those against models with more speeds or a quieter motor.
