Nikai NEP682DX Electric Pressure Cooker 6L Digital 1000W

Our review

The Nikai NEP682DX is a 6-litre electric pressure cooker with a 1000W heating element and digital controls, sold under the Nikai brand. The cooking pot is aluminium with a non-stick coating, and the outer body is wrapped in stainless steel with a matte black finish. A warm function is included for holding food after cooking. Six litres is a practical size for a household of roughly four to six people, or for batch cooking and freezing portions. It suits anyone who wants set-and-forget cooking without watching a stovetop jiko, and the digital panel keeps operation simple. Before buying, check the pot's non-stick coating is intact if you plan to use metal utensils, and confirm the voltage and plug type match your kitchen supply. Compare against stovetop pressure cookers, which need no electricity, and against larger or smaller electric models if your household size differs. Also weigh how often you would use the warm function versus a plain keep-warm setting on rival cookers.
