Ocean Pilsner Beer Glasses, 6 Pieces, 315ml, Model 1B05011L

Our review

This is a six-piece set of Ocean pilsner glasses, each listed at 315ml and identified by model 1B05011L. The pilsner shape is the tall, gently tapered one that brewers and bar staff reach for when pouring lighter beers, because it keeps a head going and shows off a pale, clear pour. That makes the set a sensible pick for someone who regularly drinks pilsner-style lagers at home, or for a small bar, restaurant or guesthouse that wants matching glassware without hunting for singles. Ocean describes the range as premium glassware with exceptional clarity, aimed at bars, hotels and home use, and the summary notes durability and practical, stylish design. Before ordering, compare the measurements against your cupboard and dishwasher: the listing gives a mouth diameter of 80.5mm, a height of 173mm, a top diameter of 81mm and a base diameter of 65mm, while the summary also mentions 14oz (400ml) and MD 80.5mm. Those figures are worth checking against the 315ml figure in the title, since capacity and pour size are not the same thing. Also weigh up whether you want six identical glasses or a mixed set, and whether a pilsner shape suits the beers you actually drink. Available on Sokonia.
