Ocean Alaska Sundae Glass 6pcs 225ml Tulip-Shaped Ice Cream Cups

Our review

This is a six-piece set of Ocean Alaska Sundae glasses, each holding 225ml and shaped with the tulip profile you associate with old-fashioned soda fountain sundaes. The proportions suit a couple of scoops with sauce, nuts and a wafer without the dessert spilling over the rim, and the shape keeps tall builds stable on the table. They work well for households that serve ice cream, fruit fools, parfaits or layered yoghurt regularly, and for anyone who wants matching glassware rather than odds and ends. Before buying, think about where they will live: tulip bowls are wider at the top than a straight tumbler, so check cupboard height and whether you want them stacked or displayed. Compare against plain tumblers if you mainly drink from the glass, and against smaller sundae dishes if portions tend to be modest. As with any glassware, hand washing is the safer habit, and it is worth confirming the count and capacity on the listing before you commit. The set is available on Sokonia.
