Ocean Rego Rectangle Food Container, Yellow Fizz, 640ml

Our review

The Ocean Rego box is a rectangular 640ml food container built from borosilicate glass, with a tempered glass lid rather than the plastic or silicone lids common on many containers. That choice of materials is the main thing setting it apart, and it shapes who it suits: anyone who wants to see what is inside without opening the lid, and who prefers glass over plastic for storing and reheating food. The Yellow Fizz colouring gives it a brighter look than plain clear boxes. Before buying, think about the 640ml capacity against what you actually pack, and check whether the rectangular footprint fits your bag, fridge shelf or lunch routine. Compare it with similar glass containers on lid material, since a tempered glass lid behaves differently from a snap-on plastic one, and with plastic boxes on weight if you carry lunch daily. If you want a glass container with a glass lid, this one is available on Sokonia.
