Ocean Madison Wine Glass 6pcs, 425ml Fine Rim Goblet

Our review

This is a six-piece set of Ocean's Madison stemware, a water goblet style glass with a 425ml bowl and a fine rim. The oversized bowl is the point: more surface area means more contact with air, which helps wine aromas come forward when you swirl. That makes the set a reasonable fit for everyday reds and fuller whites, or for a household that wants matching glasses for casual dinners and guests rather than delicate, thin-walled crystal. Before buying, think about two things. First, 425ml is generous for a pour but still modest by red-wine balloon standards, so if you mainly drink big Bordeaux or Syrah you may prefer a wider-bowled glass. Second, check how the glasses feel in hand and how they sit in your cupboard, since stem height and bowl width vary across Ocean's ranges. Compare with plain all-purpose tumblers or smaller 350ml stems if storage is tight, and with lead-free crystal if clarity matters more to you than price. The fine rim is worth noting, as it changes how the glass meets your lips compared with a rolled edge. Available on Sokonia.
