Silverdome 85L Double Door Refrigerator RFD 85

Our review

The Silverdome RFD 85 is a compact 85-litre double door refrigerator finished in silver, with a recessed handle and a defrost system rather than automatic defrosting. Inside you get glass shelves, an ice cube tray and an egg tray, and it carries a 12-month warranty. The size suits a single person, a couple, a small office kitchen or a bedsit where a full-height fridge would take up too much room. Because it is a defrost model, plan to empty and manually defrost it every few months to keep the freezer compartment working efficiently. Before buying, measure the space you have and check the door swing, since a double door unit needs clearance at the front. Compare it with other 80 to 100 litre fridges on shelf count, whether defrosting is manual or automatic, and the length of warranty, as these are the differences that matter most at this size. It is available on Sokonia.
