Our review
The Sony MHC-V43D is a one-box audio system built around several ways to play: a CD deck, a USB port, FM radio and Bluetooth, plus a stereo mini audio input for wired sources. It also has a single microphone input that accepts a guitar, which sets it apart from many simpler shelf systems. Sports Mode, with narration on or off, and the Music Emotion EQ give you some control over how speech and music come across. It suits someone who wants a single unit for discs, radio, USB files and phone streaming, and who might plug in a mic or guitar. Before buying, check which sources you actually use, since the value here is in the variety rather than any one feature. Compare it with other Sony high-power systems if you mainly stream, and confirm the input types match your gear.
