Symphony Diet 22i Personal Tower Air Cooler, 22L Tank, Remote Control

Our review

The Symphony Diet 22i is a personal tower air cooler built around a 22-litre tank and a remote control, sold under the Symphony brand. Its slim, lightweight tower body is the main draw: it slides into narrow gaps where a boxy cooler would not fit, and it pushes air at bed height or across the full body rather than only near the floor. Symphony rates it for rooms up to 200 square feet, so it best suits a bedroom, study, small office or single living space rather than an open-plan lounge. Before buying, think about how you will fill and drain a tank that size, where the unit will sit relative to windows or doors for cross-ventilation, and whether you want remote control within reach of a bed or sofa. Compare it with window and split air conditioners, which cool more aggressively but cost more to run and install, and with larger desert coolers that cover more area but take up far more floor space. If portability and a small footprint matter more than whole-room chilling, this is the type of cooler to shortlist. It is available on Sokonia.
