Our review
The Tefal Puregliss FV8062G0 is a corded steam iron built around two ideas: fast heat and steady steam. Its 3000W element is specified for rapid warm-up, and the continuous output of 50 g/min handles everyday cottons and blends, while a 280 g/min boost is there for stubborn creases in heavier fabrics. The Durilium Airglide soleplate is paired with Autoclean anti-calc technology, which matters in Tanzania where hard water can shorten an iron's working life. This suits households ironing regularly, and anyone tired of a light iron that sputters. Before buying, think about your water: if your supply is very hard, plan to use the self-clean cycle often, and check whether you prefer a corded iron or the freedom of cordless. Compare against Tefal's own lower-wattage models and against irons with larger tanks if you iron in long sessions, since tank size is not stated here. Also weigh steam output rather than wattage alone. Available on Sokonia.
