Tefal Bludrop 0.5L Double Wall Stainless Steel Vacuum Flask
TSh 82,500
Our review
The Tefal Bludrop is a 0.5-litre reusable drinking bottle built from stainless steel, with a double wall vacuum construction and an ergonomic silicon sleeve around the body. It is aimed at anyone trying to cut disposable plastic from a daily routine: commuters, office workers, students and gym-goers who want one bottle that can be refilled rather than replaced. The half-litre size sits in the middle of the usual range, so it fits most bag side pockets without being heavy when full. Before buying, think about what you actually drink and where. A double wall vacuum design is generally chosen for keeping drinks at temperature and for reducing condensation on the outside, while the silicon sleeve is there to improve grip and soften knocks. Check the cap and opening suit how you drink, and whether the bottle needs to fit a cup holder or a specific bag pocket. Compare it with single wall steel bottles, which are lighter and cheaper but offer less insulation, and with plastic reusable bottles, which are lighter again but feel less durable. Also weigh the 0.5L capacity against larger flasks if you need more for a full day out. Available on Sokonia.
