Tronic 12-Globe Pendant Chandelier, Matte Black

Our review

This Tronic chandelier hangs twelve opal glass globes from matte black hardware in a cascading arrangement, so the light spreads softly rather than glaring from a single point. It suits anyone furnishing a contemporary home who wants a centrepiece over a dining table, kitchen island or double-height stairwell, and who prefers a dark metal frame against pale walls or wood. Before buying, measure your ceiling height and the drop you can afford, since a cascading design needs vertical room, and check the weight your ceiling fixing can carry. Also confirm the bulb fitting and how many bulbs are needed, as none are stated here. Compared with a single-shade pendant or a linear bar light, this one gives broader, more even coverage but takes longer to assemble and clean. Think about whether the globes will sit above eye level where you plan to hang it.
