Tronic 180 Degrees Motion Sensor with Photocell
TSh 32,500
Our review
This Tronic sensor is a passive infrared switch for automatic lighting. It covers a 180-degree field, so it watches a broad arc rather than a narrow corridor, and it turns lights on when it picks up movement. After a set period the lights go off again on their own. An integral photocell keeps the motion trigger from firing during daylight, which is the part that matters most if you are fitting it outdoors or near a window. It suits someone automating a porch, gate area, corridor, or store room where lights are otherwise left burning. Before buying, check the load rating of your light fittings against the sensor, confirm the wiring arrangement you have, and think about the detection range you actually need. Compare it with sensors that lack a photocell, since those will switch on in bright conditions, and with wider-coverage units if your space is large. Available on Sokonia.
