Tronic 20W Daylight LED Flood Light, IP65 Rated, 6500K

Our review

This is a compact mains-powered LED flood light from Tronic, rated 20W and specified at 6500K, which is a cool daylight white rather than the warmer tone of a household bulb. The IP65 rating on the housing means it is built to shrug off dust and water spray, so it is a sensible candidate for outdoor positions such as a driveway, gate, yard, back wall or loading area where the fitting is exposed to the weather. It is also a reasonable pick for commercial premises that need steady, bright light over an entrance or service yard.
Before ordering, check the practical details that the listing does not cover. Confirm the mounting bracket and fixings suit the surface you have in mind, and that the cable route reaches a suitable outdoor-rated supply. Think about beam spread and mounting height: a 20W unit of this kind is usually better for focused coverage of a small to medium area than for flooding a large compound, so if you need wide coverage you may want two smaller fittings rather than one larger one. Also decide whether 6500K suits the space, since some buyers prefer a warmer colour outdoors.
When comparing alternatives, look at wattage, colour temperature, IP rating and housing material, and check whether a comparable fitting offers the same weather protection. Available on Sokonia.
