Tronic 4 Way Extension Cord with Neon Switch, Model EC 4954

Our review

This Tronic extension cord gives you four sockets fed from a single lead, with a main power switch and a neon indicator on the unit. The point of that switch is convenience: chargers, lamps, a router, a small fan and similar low-wattage items can stay plugged in, and one flick cuts power to all of them instead of you pulling each plug out. It suits a desk, bedside table or TV corner where several small devices cluster around one wall outlet. Before buying, check the plug type and socket shape match your outlets, and confirm the cord reaches where you need it, since no length is stated here. Also think about your total load: this is intended for low-wattage devices, not heaters, kettles or other high-draw appliances. Compared with a plain four-way adapter that has no switch, the neon switch is the main difference, and it is the feature worth weighing against basic strips. It is available on Sokonia.
