This is a four-outlet extension socket from Tronic, fitted with a three-metre cable and a switch for each outlet rather than one master switch. The cable is 1.25mm² and flame-retardant, the plug carries a 13A fuse, and the unit is rated for a maximum load of 3250W. Individual switches suit anyone who wants to leave several devices plugged in but power them down separately, such as a desk with a monitor, charger, lamp and printer, or a workshop bench where tools are used one at a time. Before buying, check the plug type and socket layout match your wall outlets, confirm three metres reaches where you need it, and add up the wattage of everything you plan to connect so it stays within the stated maximum. Compared with a basic four-way block with a single switch, this gives finer control and fused protection, but it takes up similar space and still needs a free wall socket nearby.
