Tronic 6mm Single Core PVC Insulated Cable
TSh 389,000
Our review
This is a single core, PVC insulated cable with a 6mm cross section, made by Tronic and produced in Tanzania. The conductor is stated as 99.9% pure copper, and the insulation is PVC, so it is intended for fixed wiring rather than for flexible, moving connections. It comes in blue, brown and green, which lets you keep cores consistent across a run. It suits anyone wiring circuits where a single 6mm core is the right size, such as a dedicated feed or a distribution connection, and who wants to match colours deliberately. Before buying, confirm the 6mm size matches your circuit design and that PVC insulation is acceptable for where the cable will sit, since heat, sunlight and damp affect how long any cable lasts. Compare against other single core cables on conductor material, insulation type and colour range, and check the length you actually need, because buying short leaves you joining cable. If you are unsure about sizing or routing, ask a qualified electrician first. Available on Sokonia.
