Tronic Advanced Real Presence Sensor with 360° Detection

Our review

This Tronic sensor is built around a simple idea: lighting that responds to people rather than to a timer or a basic motion trigger. Alongside movement, it picks up presence and subtle breathing, which means it can keep a light on while someone is sitting still and reading, then switch off once the room is genuinely empty. That makes it a reasonable fit for offices, meeting rooms, washrooms, corridors and homes where lights are left burning out of habit. Before buying, think about how your lighting is wired and controlled, since a sensor like this only helps if it can actually take over the switching. It is also worth comparing against ordinary PIR motion sensors, which are cheaper but often cut out when a person stops moving, and against smart bulbs that rely on schedules or apps. If your priority is hands-off efficiency in occupied spaces, the extra sensing capability is the main reason to choose this over a basic detector. Available on Sokonia.
