Tronic APLE LED Bulb 15W B22 Bayonet Cap

Our review

This is a 15-watt LED bulb from Tronic, sold under the APLE name, and it fits a B22 pin cap rather than the small Edison screw many households already have. That fitting detail matters most: check the socket on your lamp or ceiling rose before ordering, because a bayonet bulb will not go into a screw fitting without an adapter. Tronic positions the bulb around two claims, flicker-free light that is easier on the eyes and energy savings of up to 85% compared with older bulbs. It suits anyone replacing a frequently used bulb in a living room, bedroom or workspace where steady light and lower running costs matter. When comparing, look at the cap type first, then the wattage and the light colour, since a 15W LED is bright enough for general room lighting but may be too strong for a bedside lamp. If your fittings are screw type, a B22 alternative from another brand will be the simpler buy.
