Tronic Black Wire Mesh Pendant Light, E27 Base, 406.4mm

Our review

This Tronic pendant light is a black aluminium shade built around a traditional industrial look, with a wire mesh body that lets light spread out and reach the corners of a room rather than pooling straight down. It measures 406.4mm high and 406.4mm wide, so it reads as a fairly substantial fitting, and it takes a standard E27 base bulb. That makes it a sensible pick for anyone leaning into industrial, loft or warehouse-style interiors, or for a kitchen island, dining table or hallway where an open, airy shade works better than a solid drum. Before buying, check the ceiling height and the drop you need, since the dimensions given are for the shade itself, and confirm your bulb choice suits an exposed mesh fitting, as the bulb will be visible. Also think about how much light you want: a mesh shade gives a softer, more scattered effect than an opaque one. Compare it with other E27 pendants on shade material, size and finish, and note the one-year warranty.
