Tronic Black Single Switch Socket with Neon

Our review

This is a single switch socket from Tronic, finished in black with square edges and a smooth, shiny surface. The screws are left visible on purpose, which makes it straightforward to open up for maintenance or to replace the unit once it wears out. That matters in homes, rentals and small shops where sockets take steady use and someone will eventually need to service them.
It suits anyone wiring or rewiring a room who wants a socket that is simple to work on rather than sealed and awkward. Before buying, check the mounting box and wiring in your wall match a single socket layout, and confirm the switch and neon arrangement fits how you want the point to work. Compare with other single sockets on finish, how easy they are to open, and whether the neon indicator is something you actually want.
