Tronic Black TV and Data Socket, Slim Glossy Wall Plate

Our review

This Tronic socket is a wall fitting that joins a television or signal receiver to the cable running up to the aerial. It also carries data, so it can serve a TV point and a network or signal connection from the same plate. The black finish is glossy, the edges are smooth and the profile is slim, which suits rooms where you want the outlet to sit quietly against the wall rather than stand out. It is aimed at anyone wiring or refreshing a home, office, lounge or reception area where a tidy aerial connection is needed. Before buying, check the type of cable and connector your aerial or receiver uses, and confirm the box depth and wall opening match the plate you are replacing. Compare it with plain white sockets if colour matters, and with combined plates if you need more than one outlet at the same spot. If your setup only needs a single aerial point, a simpler socket may do. Available on Sokonia.
