Tronic Black Wall Sconce Light with Frosted Glass Shade

Our review

This Tronic wall sconce is a single-light fixture finished in matte black, fitted with a frosted glass shade shaped like a bell. The combination is straightforward: the dark frame keeps the fitting visually quiet against most wall colours, while the frosted glass diffuses the bulb so you get a softer glow rather than a harsh point of light. It suits anyone furnishing a hallway, stairwell, bedroom or living room who wants wall lighting that reads as understated rather than decorative. Before buying, check the wall you have in mind: sconces need a mounting point and, in most cases, an existing electrical connection or a plan for one, so confirm what your wall can support. Also think about the bulb you intend to use and whether its fitting and shape will sit comfortably inside a bell shade, since a bulb that is too large or too bright can defeat the purpose of frosted glass. Compare it with other wall lights by looking at finish, shade material and how much light they spread. If you want a warm, even wash of light and a clean black accent, this is a sensible candidate; if you need a fixture with adjustable arms or a specific rating for damp areas, look at alternatives instead.
