Tronic LED Bulb 12W Daylight E27 Screw Base

Our review

This is a 12-watt Tronic LED bulb in a daylight white tone, fitted with the standard E27 screw base. It is the kind of bulb you would consider for everyday lighting in a home, shop or office where a light stays on for long stretches and you want to cut running costs. Because it draws far less power than an incandescent bulb of similar brightness, it suits sockets that are used daily rather than occasionally. Before buying, check that your fixture takes an E27 screw fitting, not a bayonet or pin base, and confirm the daylight colour is what you want for that room, since it reads cooler and whiter than warm white. Compare it with other LED bulbs on wattage, base type and colour temperature, and weigh it against fluorescent options, which this bulb is said to outlast by roughly two to five times. No specifications beyond these are listed, so treat the base type and wattage as the key details to match to your fitting.
