Tronic LED Bulb 9W Daylight E27 Screw Base

Our review

This is a 9-watt LED bulb from Tronic with a daylight white output and an E27 screw base, the standard fitting found on most household lamps, ceiling fixtures and pendant holders in Tanzania. Because it draws only 9 watts, it suits rooms where a light stays on for hours at a time, such as a living area, kitchen, shop counter or study, and it is a sensible swap for anyone still running incandescent or older fluorescent bulbs. The main thing to confirm before ordering is the fitting: E27 is the wider screw base, so check your socket rather than assuming it matches a small bayonet or pin fitting. Also think about colour. Daylight white is cooler and brighter-looking than warm white, which many people prefer in workspaces and bathrooms but find harsh in bedrooms. Compared with incandescent bulbs, this type uses at least 75% less energy and lasts 35 to 50 times longer, and it also outlasts fluorescent lighting by roughly two to five times, which reduces how often you replace bulbs. If you want a warmer glow or a different wattage, compare those options against this one. Available on Sokonia.
