Tronic LED Bulb Purple 2W B22 Bayonet Pin
TSh 1,500
Our review
This is a low-wattage LED bulb from Tronic that gives off purple light, fitted with a B22 pin base. At 2 watts it draws very little power, so it suits accent or decorative lighting where you want a coloured glow rather than bright white light for a whole room. Before buying, confirm your fixture takes a B22 pin fitting, since this will not fit screw-in sockets, and check that purple light is what you actually want for the spot. Compared with incandescent bulbs, LEDs like this use at least 75% less energy, and they last 35 to 50 times longer than incandescent and roughly 2 to 5 times longer than fluorescent, which cuts replacement and maintenance effort.
