Tronic Cable Gland Box with 80A MCB, Model M696
TSh 122,500
Our review
The Tronic M696 is a cable gland box that comes with an 80 amp miniature circuit breaker already fitted. In plain terms, it gives you a single enclosure where cables enter through glands and the 80A MCB sits ready to protect the circuit. That combination suits anyone running heavier loads where a standard domestic breaker would be undersized, such as workshop equipment, larger pumps, or submain distribution points. Before buying, confirm the 80A rating matches the cable and load you plan to protect, since an oversized breaker will not trip when it should. Also check the gland sizes suit your cable diameters and that the enclosure fits your mounting space. Compare it with buying a plain gland box and a separate MCB, which can be cheaper but means more wiring and a second component to source. The M696 is available on Sokonia.
