Tronic Cable Lugs 50-6 MM Aluminum, Silver, 1-Year Warranty

Our review

These Tronic cable lugs are small aluminum connectors used to join a cable to the terminal of an electrical device. The 50-6 MM marking tells you the size, so the first thing to confirm is that your cable and terminal stud match it; a lug that is too small will not fit the conductor, and one that is too large will not clamp securely. The aluminum body suits cable management work where a light, conductive link is needed, and the silver finish is simply the natural look of the metal. Tronic backs them with a one-year warranty, which is worth noting because lugs are often bought in quantity and a faulty batch is frustrating. Before ordering, compare the material with copper lugs, which conduct differently and may be preferred for some installations, and check whether your project calls for insulated or bare connectors. If you already know your cable size and stud diameter, this is a straightforward part to add to a job. Available on Sokonia.
