Tronic Candle Tail 5W LED Warm White E27 Screw Bulb

Our review

This Tronic candle tail bulb is a 5-watt LED in warm white, shaped like a candle flame and fitted with an E27 screw base. It is aimed at fittings that take a candle-style lamp, such as chandeliers, wall sconces, small table lamps and decorative holders where a standard round bulb would look out of place. Because it is LED, it runs cooler than an old incandescent candle lamp and uses far less power for a similar warm glow. The materials are described as mercury-free and fire-retardant, and the light is softened to be easier on the eyes, with no infrared or harmful ultraviolet output. Before buying, check that your fixture uses an E27 screw cap rather than a small bayonet or E14 fitting, and confirm the candle shape and tail will physically clear any shade or glass. If you need more brightness, compare with higher-wattage candle LEDs; if you want a dimmer, cosier feel, a lower output may suit better. Also weigh warm white against cool white, since warm white tends to flatter living rooms and dining areas. It is available on Sokonia.
