Tronic Classic Black Wall Light with Frosted Glass Shade

Our review

This Tronic wall light is a single fixture with a curved black metal arm and a frosted glass shade. The frosted glass is the detail that matters most: it diffuses the bulb so you get soft, ambient light rather than a harsh point of glare, which makes it easier to live with in hallways, stairwells, bedrooms and living rooms. The black frame and traditional curve sit comfortably in both older and newer interiors, so it works if you want something understated rather than a statement piece. Before buying, check the wall space and mounting height you have in mind, and confirm the bulb type and wattage your fitting accepts, since none are listed here. Compare it with plain exposed-bulb wall lights, which give brighter task light but more glare, and with brass or chrome finishes if you are matching existing hardware. Also weigh single fixtures against multi-arm designs if you need to light a wider stretch of wall. It is available on Sokonia.
