Tronic Coaxial Cable 500 Meters
TSh 257,500
Our review
This is a single 500-metre length of coaxial cable from Tronic, intended for signal transmission work such as telecommunications, cable television and networking. The appeal is the continuous run: installers who need to wire a building, a compound or a distribution point without joining shorter reels will find one long length easier to plan around, and it reduces the number of connectors and splices in the path.
It best suits technicians, contractors and organised DIY installers rather than someone replacing one short patch lead at home. Before buying, confirm the connector type and impedance your equipment expects, since coaxial cable is not universal, and check the cable diameter and jacket material against the conduits, clips or trays you plan to use. Also think about how you will cut, terminate and test the run, because those tools and connectors are separate purchases.
Compared with alternatives, the main variables are length, shielding quality and jacket durability. A 500-metre reel makes sense when you have several runs to complete; for a single short connection, a pre-terminated cable is usually simpler. Available on Sokonia.
