Tronic PVC Trunking Coupler for 100mm x 50mm Compartment Trunking

Our review

This Tronic coupler is a joining piece for 100mm x 50mm compartment trunking, the rectangular PVC ducting used to route and protect electrical wiring. It slides over or into the ends of two trunking lengths so the run continues without a gap, keeping cables enclosed and the installation looking tidy. It suits electricians, contractors and anyone extending or repairing an existing trunking route, particularly where the same profile is already in use. Before buying, confirm your trunking measures 100mm by 50mm and that the compartment layout matches, since a coupler only works with the profile it was made for. Compare it with plain butt joints or generic connectors: a dedicated coupler gives a cleaner, more secure join. PVC also provides insulation and protection, which matters in damp or dusty areas. Check the number of lengths you need to join, as each coupler handles one joint.
