Tronic Consumer Unit 4 Ways Single Phase Complete

Our review

This is a four-way, single-phase consumer unit from Tronic, supplied as a complete set. In practice that means it is the enclosure and associated parts for distributing and protecting a small number of final circuits in one phase, rather than a bare box you have to finish yourself. It tends to suit homeowners, landlords and small commercial premises where a compact board is enough, and electricians wiring or replacing a modest distribution point. Before buying, confirm the number of outgoing ways you actually need, since four fills quickly once lighting, sockets and a dedicated appliance circuit are counted. Check the device types and ratings required for your installation, and that the unit's physical size and mounting suit the space available. Compare it with larger boards if you expect to add circuits later, and with units that include or exclude protective devices, because 'complete' can mean different things between brands. A qualified electrician should confirm suitability for your supply and earthing arrangement.
