Tronic Desk Socket Universal x 3 with RJ45 Data x 2

Our review

This is a desk-mounted power and data unit from Tronic, combining three universal sockets with two RJ45 data ports. The housing is soft-edged polished stainless steel, and a cover sits over the socket face to keep dust and other particles out when nothing is plugged in. It suits anyone tidying up a workstation, reception counter or home office where power and a wired network connection are both needed at the same point rather than trailing across the floor. Before buying, confirm the cutout size and depth your desk or floor can take, since the listing gives no dimensions, and check that your plugs fit a universal socket pattern. Compare it with plain desk grommets or single-port floor boxes: those are cheaper but usually lack the data ports and the protective cover. If you need more than two network runs, a larger unit may serve you better. Available on Sokonia.
