Tronic Diamond Indirect Wall Light, Aluminum Body

Our review

This Tronic fitting is a diamond-shaped wall light that throws its light indirectly, so the glow washes across the wall rather than shining straight out at eye level. The body is made of aluminum, which is a sensible choice for a fixture that may sit outdoors. Because the light is indirect, it works best as ambient lighting: along a staircase, in a corridor, beside a bed, in a bathroom, or on a garden and hotel wall where you want a warm, low-key effect rather than a bright working light. Before buying, check the wall surface and mounting height, since indirect output depends on how the light bounces. Also confirm the fitting's own dimensions and bulb or LED requirements with the seller, as none are listed here. Compared with a standard bulkhead or spotlight, this is the softer, more decorative option; compare it with other indirect wall lights on finish, size, and how much light they actually cast.
