Tronic Downlighter LED 30W Recessed Ceiling Light

Our review

This is a recessed LED downlight from Tronic rated at 30 watts, intended to sit flush inside a ceiling rather than hang below it. The optical lens has a pearly finish, which spreads the light so it reads as warm and comfortable instead of harsh, and the spring clips do double duty holding the fitting in place while helping heat escape. It suits anyone lighting a room where they want a clean ceiling line and soft, even light, such as a living area, corridor or bedroom. Before buying, check the cut-out diameter your ceiling already has, since a recessed fitting only works if the hole matches, and confirm the 30W rating gives the brightness you expect for the room size. Compare it with other recessed downlights on beam angle, colour temperature and dimming support, none of which are stated here, so ask the seller on Sokonia if those matter to you.
